Earlier when we were kids we used to apply a hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the card protector, cut insert photos to size. We punched a hole in each photograph to correspond with the hole in the card protector. Then we put a picture into a plastic shower curtain ring which snaps together to fasten the pictures. We could fit four or five card protectors on one ring and snap the ring closed firmly. It was a long way of making a photo album. We keep it as a souvenir.
